I looked into fitting them to my XFR some time ago, and I came to the conclusion that there was no way of fitting/mounting them that looked any good. Instead I went with DIY Cree eagle eyes, see here: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...highlight=DRLs
Cost a fraction of the Philips, only problem you might have is finding someone to do the wiring, the rest is fairly easy.

Nice! I looked up that name seems as though they all come as singles? I seen a pic of an xfr with the drl8 somewhere on the forums you can see in google images, they have them exact same place as you.. but yours actually looks more fitting and bigger.

your guide was very helpful with my own retro-fit on my 2015 sportbrake,

i do however have a problem,

i have the correct modules for my car , i have the can bus link connected, and have all the wiring with the correct mirrors etc,

however

the system will not function and i get a ' fault light ' in the right hand mirror after the initial overtake symbol lights up on ignition ( self test )

i have tried other modules and it make no difference

both modules are seen and report 100% working in SDD , i have tried the right hand mirror flash , but all i get is a right hand mirror fault light in that mirror

the left hand mirror flashes to life fro one second and then nothing

i do get a ' no coms to left hand mirror ' on the OBD2 reader , but can confirm coms and physical wiring is good

any idea's ?

BB

Nice Oz. Previous owner wired lights in to work as drls. I think they are hella brand. These lights have been glued on.
