Can anyone help, when I put car into reverse, the auto dip mirror thinks its a search light, constantly moving. Iv tried turning the feature off and on again even disconnected the battery.
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure why it would do this if you disabled the feature from the screen.

My best guess would be that its fault in the control module in the door. Try pulling the power from it and resetting it and see if that makes any difference.

 

Wonder if it's lost it's memory and is confused. While in reverse can you adjust it with the toggle on the drivers door? If that makes it stop then hit memory 1 (or whatever seat position) and it should lock that in memory

 

I'll give that a try, never thought of pressing seat memory.

 

Yes - the mirror settings are memorized along with the seat settings. So if you have two drivers with different seat settings they also get different mirror settings
Let us know if that fixes it
