Has anyone been able to get their back window tinted without a brake light cut out? If so, did you/they remove the back window shelf to do it?

It can be done. If you look at XF's on the lot there is no cut out. My tint guy said he didn't want to be responsible so he cut out. It looks like s**t, he told me if I took the shelf out he would redo my window for me. So I posted a few months ago asking for help from other members and got know response. I'm hoping someone will chime in with a how to so I can get my window redone.

 

Didn't watch mine getting done, but no cutout. It can be done.
