Battery light

Hi Guy and Girls

I have a problem if anyone can help, 2008 Jag XF 3.0 Diesel, Battery light keeps coming on but only after a couple of miles, car starts ok and runs well, I have had the alternator and battery checked and their both fine. Anyone any clues.

Hi, welcome to the forums. This forum is for the X260 2015 onwards, you need the X250 forum and I suggest to repost there or maybe a mod can move this thread for you. Good luck!

Have you checked your belt tension and idler pulley?
