Brake pads low message
Hi guys have replaced both sensors rear pads and calibrated the hand brake. Front pads were not half worn. Can not reset the message have tried a reset sequence from utube and disconnected the battery.
Message still displaying any suggestions?

Something that might be worth trying; disconnect the battery cables and then touch the negative and positive terminals together (the wires, not the battery terminals!). This is a bit of a shortcut way to clear fault codes, I have used it on my 2008 XF with success but not specifically for a brake pad message.
They are easy to bypass so I would go to each sensor and short the two leads together temporarily. Do this one sensor at a time. The message should go out when you find the right circuit causing the problem. Somewhere the system is seeing ground which turns on that message.
Was the message on before you worked on the brakes? If so the sensor is ruined and must be replaced. It was not clear when you said you replaced the sensors so maybe they are all new?
