Default Braking

I have a 2011 Jag XF which I absolutely love however I am finding the braking very difficult to get used to. I have driven automatic cars for the last 20 years and never had any problems in stopping the car. My Jag has had new brake pads put on and the dealer says there isn't a problem but I have to pump the brakes to get them to engage properly. Any help appreciated.

Sounds like you still have some air in the brake line(s), the fix is to bleed them again.

Did the dealer say that after driving the car?
Maybe a short test drive would clue them in?

Pumping the brake is bad regardless of the car brand.
