My 2009 BT module was underwater and had been disconnected by PO (or someone) and is corroded. Can it be replaced with a newer version and pick up BT audio?

 

Any of the following modules (all made by Ford Motor Co.) can be used in the XF-250

Check around, as prices do vary a lot. I replaced mine with one I found on EBay for $30.
You also don't have to disconnect the battery when replacing module.

 

Just not sure about BT Audio, it seems it was not an option for the ‘09 MY? My HU doesn’t have it as an audio input.

I popped in a Griffin iTrip BT audio 12v socket for the time being.

I thought you were asking about the phone module under the left front seat.

There is a small square block (you can buy that plugs into the IPod cable inside the centre console) that might help. I tried one and it did connect my phone but it kept randomly disconnecting.
I think that might help with the audio for you.

 

Yep, I bought the CoolStream version but that was before I found my iPod module underwater and severely corroded.
