Not sure on your specific question. But as I'm sure you know, the SC and XFR brake calipers are much bigger than the standard XF ones, and that means that you really need a 20 inch wheel - almost all of the 19 inch (and I'm sure all of the 18 inch) will not clear the calipers.

if you change the calipers, you'll have to change the rotors as well, or they won't fit. Everything should bolt right up. They are most likely not going to change the control arms, but there's a possibility since the suspenions are different.

understand that i will need a bigger wheels. im thinking that a 19" x8.5 et49 or less should be able to clear as i base on the f-type s specs. 19” Propeller Silver alloy wheels T2R1860

You need to get your hands on the JEPC (Electronic Parts Catalog) and compare the brake/suspension parts between the two models.

If, for example, there is no different part number for the vertical links / hub carriers / hubs then you will probably be OK. The only way to be sure without having the parts in front of you...

Also check out the handbrake system, could be some varations.

Remember if you do go bigger rotors you will probably also have to change the dust shields too.

Definitely worth doing a test fit with a wheel before committing. A number of us here on the forum with the SC and XFR models had a lot of trouble trying to find 19 inch wheels that would work (wanted to have a second set of wheels with 19inch for winter tyres). In the end most of us gave up and went with the 20inch instead as we had so many fitment issues. A couple of people managed to get one of the 19 inch Jag wheels to fit, and someone else did some grinding work on part of the caliper to create clearance. In general anything at 19inch will be very, very tight and most of them unfortunately just don't fit.

Default calipers

Hi,
They will bolt straight on but the carriers will need to be on the new calipers as used on the larger discs (rotors).

You will need new rotors and pads and the hand brake will be the same,If you need the calipers let me know as I have some of the larger calipers.

im just guessing its the caliper size difference between the f type and xfr ones. but if 20" is a must then a ap racing bbk + 19" would just be the better option? hmmm

Default calipers

Hi,
I have front and rear calipers painted red with discs (380/376mm) and pads which will bolt straight on from the XF-RS but you will need 20" wheels or you can go down the route of 355/326mm discs which have a larger caliper on the front but you can keep the original rear calipers and use the original wheels.
let me know.
