Neither of my 2012 cars produce any dusting at all. Does anyone know if Jaguar decided to go ceramic for this particular year?

Did you buy them new? No ceramic pads.

No, both were used. One was a prior lease and the other was only 5 months old with 4K miles. Do the OEM pads dust really bad?
?

Would be very interested to know what pads they put on your car. Not a lot of pads fit the XF, and I found good no dust pad for the rear (Akebono), but not the front.

Let us know if you find out.

I won't know until it's time to replace them and that won't be for a long time. Whatever these are, I will use them again. Absolutely no dusting whatsoever! Both are daily drivers but neither are driven many miles a week.

My front brakes were original to the car until I changed them last week and they never created much dust. The dealer replaced the rear ones at about 40k miles and the dust was absolutely terrible - worst dusting of any car I’ve ever owned. Not sure what material they used. They must have changed the composition from what came out of the factory. I went with the Duralast semi-metallic (not Gold) and I’ll post how they are doing.
