Default Do I need to worry?

I became the proud owner of a 2012 XF Portfolio CPO in June & absolutely love it. It's good-looking, sporty (for a 4 dr), fast, & handles great. As a new owner, I have spent hours on this forum, & thus, my question. I am almost paranoid that the leather on my dash is gonna come off, the differential malfunction, the electronics will stop "electronicing", wind noise will get bad, & the car is gonna leave me stranded when it just "cuts off on the highway"...all problems that I have read about from other owners. (I would have added the water pump failure, but it has already been replaced!)
I have read the 2012 is somewhat better than a couple earlier years, but still not convinced. Can someone ease my concerns, or prepare me for the worst, whichever applies.
Anyway, have had no problems yet.....and again....it's a gem to drive! I love it so hate to think about parting with it!
Thanks for any comments!!

Hi - your post is in the wrong section / new XF are the very new ones. Yours as a 2012 is a X250. Maybe a mod can move it to the right section

I have a 2010SC and it has been outstanding. Dash is perfect. And I believe they changed the glue and started to staple the dash in 2012 (others can confirm) so hopefully you are safe. It in doubt use a sun shield to protect it when in hot hot sun
Aside from the water pump no issues at all. Use it daily and don't worry at all. The diff issue was on early cars - 2009 and maybe into 2010.
You of course hear issues on the forum as people post when they have an issue. But I have found mine to be very reliable and a joy to drive. So enjoy it!

My guidance if you are out of warranty - find a good independent dealer that knows jags so when things go wrong (as they do on all cars) you have a moderate cost route. Or an extended warranty to avoid shocks...
