Just a little help and guidance needed here guys if anybody can help.

My nearside (left) door mirror appears to be operating quite slowly and squeaks when moving into it's safe (closed) position.

Anybody had any similar issues and can point me in the direction of a fix?

I really don't want to part with loads of cash for a new mirror mechanism if there's another way - that and the fact I hate taking my baby to the Main *******s!
