Default "Downgrading" from 2011 5.0 S/C to new 3.0 AWD

It's very hard to get a decent lease deal on a new 2014 XF S/C car. No support from Jaguar on the leases for anything with a V8. They only promote the 3.0 AWD cars these days. My lease is up in 5 months, and I'm not sure what I will decide.
Anybody lives with the AWD car after having 'tasted' the S/C ?
I would hate to be totally unhappy for the next 3 years............
This may force me to look elsewhere......

I drove a 2013 3.0 awd loaner for a week. I own a 2010 xfr. The awd was ok but in no way can it replace the supercharged feel of my car. I know it was only a loaner but I felt that the interior styling was lacking also. Personally I would not buy a XF with less than the supercharged package. Now the XJ is another story!

Inhave an 11 SC. I drove a '12 non SC while minevwas getting serviced. I don't think I could go to non SC engine let alone 4 or 6 cylinder. Maybe if was a SC 6 F-type coupe. I know one member here has downgraded as is fine with it.

Drove a XF SC AWD 3.0 and while it was not bad at all - I really missed my 5.0 NA. While I could live with the 3.0 not sure I would be 100% happy. May be better if they would offer the the 380 HP 3.0 SC from the F-Type. Not sure what I will do when the time comes to switch - Maybe a used XF or XFR 5.0 SC 2012+ may do the trick (would really need to sneak the XFR past the wife somehow) .

Good Luck

Just buy a low mileage 2010-2012 XF with the 5.0! 385 HP even witout the S/C is plenty of power and alot of fun.

well, I am leasing my cars (for business reasons), so finding a used one is not an option for me.

I am in the same situation. I have a 2012 XFR. I love the car. It comes off lease next year. I am hoping to get into an F-Type. I hope by then there will be some Jaguar incentives otherwise I may have to take a look at the Maserati Ghibli, Mercedes C63 or a BMW M class. I would prefer to stay with Jaguar as it would be my 4th one.

I'd recommend driving one and see who it feels. I bought my 2012 base XF two years ago and I'm still loving it. I know I want to upgrade to an XFR someday but now I am venturing down another career path so it'll be another year or two until my salary recovers and then surpasses what I made earlier. That said, I cannot think of any other car I'd rather be driving.
