Bought a pair of front seats off eBay. Huge upgrade in comfort and looks.


The airbags had not been deployed but there was crash data retained. Used an Autel to clear the data. Car is going to the dealership to get the “software incompatible “ VIN coding aligned to turn off the SRS light.

Unfortunately the seat heat/cool isn’t working. The originals didn’t work either. Going to have the dealership see if something in the car is not coded right to communicate with the modules.

 

Dealer said they could not put my VIN on donor seat modules. Plus the donor seats' pre-tensioners had been fired. I'll have to swap over my existing seat modules and belt buckles.
