Default ECU/ECM ground corrosion

My 2009 xf sc has corrosion at the earth connection for the ECU/ECM. I'm trying to remove the RH pedestrian protection actuator bracket so as the access the bolt. Problem is, there's a bracket under the hydraulic control unit that prevents its removal. Any suggestions on how to proceed?

With thanks

I don't think it comes out easily, you normally just rotate it out of the way to get access to the ECM cover. Take out the 3 bolts on the ECM cover and the 2 on the ECM, then slide it out. But it doesn't look like the bracket itself comes off without dismantling a load of bits from the front of the car.

This is the only reference I can find to taking the bracket out, which seems to imply removing the bulkhead panel first so maybe its under there:

Thumbs up

You're right, it does not come out easily, there's lot to dismantle first. I had to use a crowbar to move the bracket under the HCU out of the way. Luckily the bracket is quite springy. The manual is not helpful when it comes the the RHS actuator bracket. The LHS is uncomplicated. Thank you for taking the time to upload pictures.
