Default Found a good foldable front sunshade

Hey all.

Hope this doesn't sound like a paid ad or something, just passing on a good product I just got.

Working over here in the sandbox, where its pretty much 100 deg by 10AM already, and the Wal-mart brand sunshade I brought over with me (I know this part of the world pretty well since I'm an Army vet) was too small. Found this sunshade while looking at the site for NFL & MLB badges to put on my toolbox at work of all things:

The panels have some thickness to them, no floppy sheets here. You can see the fit is pretty much spot on, and it come with a soft case for storage.

The website is Auto and Car Accessories: Car Beyond Store. It set me back about $63, but it was money well spent. The leather on the dash was already replaced by the previous owner over here because the heat & UV rays just ate the leather up because the car was parked out in the sun all the time.

HTH

You can get the OEM Jaguar Sunshade for around $50 bucks. Here is the part #C2Z21715. I've attached a pic as well.

The reason I went that route is because I'm not in the US right now, and I'm working in one of the most expensive countries in the world. The ***********s in this country are friggen re-dick-u-lous with their markups an auto parts. Case in point... I need a a/c condenser because the one in the car is leaking in two places. The price at the single jag dealer in this country $1,400. I can get a brand new OEM condenser shipped from the UK for about $725, and even when you add in the tariff on importing car parts, I still come out way cheaper. I guarantee if I were to price the sunshade here, it would be closer to $100-150.

Just out of curiosity Boonie, where in the MD are you? I lived in Lanham, and did my freshman year of high school at Eleanor Roosevelt in Greenbelt.
