How do I remove the clip on this .My car is at my father's house in his garage and he's trying to get this clip off and says it's hard to reach so he wanted to make sure how to get it off before he tries 😂..

 

Can't tell as the plug is facing the wrong way in the picture?
My guess is there is a locking tab that must be pulled back first before squeezing the release tab.
If you have a part number you may find a better picture on-line some place?
I often use EBay as used parts sometimes have additional pictures.
