Which fuse for electric heated windshield?

Default Which fuse for electric heated windshield?

Last year the wire for the electric heated windshield was heating up and melting the plastic, causing smoke, I had it taken care of but I suspect the similar is happening again because I smell a sweet burning smell.

I want to pull the fuse and see if it makes a difference. I’m also thinking it might also be the driver heated seat.

According to my PDF copy of the MY2011 Owner's Handbook it is two fuses, engine bay fuse box F15 (RH) and F16 (LH), both 40A orange.

Hi

May I ask what the fix was for the smoking connector on front heated windshield? I too have this problem but fuse does not blow, so Im a bit confused.
