Default Gas Mileage -post yours

So after only seeing 13mpg in town (I wonder why?) -- I finally took the RS out on a cruise and was pleasantly surprised with the following:

MPG: 25.5
Avg Speed: 63.6
Distance: 313 miles

I was *never* seeing this mileage on my old 4 cyl turbo...I suspect if I had kept the 120mph "passing" to a minimum it would have increased.

Anyone else have some mpg on their XF to report in?

24-26 mpg highway at 60 plus mpg steady is about what I achieve in my 470hp supercharged. Around town half of that. The juice is worth the squeeze though.......

Daily driving in Pittsburgh area, I get 18-19 with my 2009 XF 4.2 liter 300 HP non supercharged. On long trips in relatively flat country ( like Ohio, Indiana, Nebraska, Oklahoma etc.) get 30 mpg! 26-28 in hilly highway driving - like Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia.

Lifetime to date on XFR-S is 13 L/100 km = 18.1 mpg, mostly highway and backroads driving, very little in town.

Lifetime on old XFR was 13.6 L/100 km = 17.3 mpg, same driving as above.

Numbers calculated from fuel pump readings and distance driven.
