Default Gas tank location?

Anyone know where is the location of the gas tank is in the XF? I ask because my car seems to sit much lower on the back driver side versus the back passenger side. TIA. TC

From the look of this cutaway, it's flat across the rear beneath the floor:

It's an interesting shape!

The tank humps in the middle. If it were at the back it wouldn't need to hump for the drive shaft/diff I'd say it's under the floor where the back seat is (not shown in the picture). That's where it is on most cars. I didn't think it was legal to put them at the far back anyway due to crash/fire reasons.

I just noticed this as well for the first time. Filled the tank fully and just observed that the rear drivers side sits an inch or so lower than the passenger side.

If the tank is level across the rear of the vehicle I'm assuming that the full tank isn't the culprit. Does this seem like a cause for concern?
