Default Gauge Cluster fading in and out...

Have any of you experienced the electronic display between the speedometer and tachometer fading in and out?

Mine does too every so often. I don't know the fix.

Yes, mine did that. The fault lies within the cluster. It's not the electrolytic caps as I thought it could've been. Must be a surface mount component gone bad, but I'm not skilled enough to troubleshoot those (and not without a schematic from Visteon). Fixed it with a swapped cluster. You need to be good with SDD and a Mongoose cable to do key unprogramming, reset immobiliser and reprogramming of keys on the new cluster. Or pay the best part of £1000 to have Jag do it!
