Default Ghost in the machine. :(

2015 XF sport Supercharged 3.0 AWD
EPB will not engage
Battery is fine
EPB motor can be engaged with computer
Switch in cabin can been seen as working on the shop computer.
Somehow the button that you lift up on to engage the brake is not communicating with the motor that engages the brake.
Last thing.... The car thinks that the EPB is engaged and beeps all the time when moving
What. The. Hell.
Help me Obi-Wan, you're my only hope

You need to scan the car with the factory SDD system.
Can you find a shop that has this?
Without codes your just guessing and that is VERY expensive on a Jaguar!

EPB module. On the axle. Probably full of water.

Not that I disagree with getting an SDD scan.

My local guy already has already dropped the rear suspension and checked out that. He can manipulate the motor with the computer.
I even bought one from fleabay and turns out , didn't need it.
The thought of taking it to my dealer which is almost 90 mi from me, is giving me a stroke.

Don't disagree about the EPB module but that should set some kind of EPB code too?
Hate to replace parts when not sure?
Plus if the module was bad how could his device operate the motor? Looks like the module has to command the EPB motor?
