2013 XF 53K - is it possible that both front upper control arms have to be replaced due to the grease boots being torn Fort Myers Jag Dealer Want $2500 to fix
if this happend on the driver side shouldnt the passenger side be ruster out also

 

No no... Too much, find an Indy, or do it yourself, aftermarket parts cheaper...

 

These dealers are absolutely raping us Jag owners.

 

Nobody wants to own a money pit, and that's what they become if you are dependant on the dealer for repairs, if you can find a reasonable indie,or you can Diy, then no issues. You can get oem aftermarket parts that are fairly reasonable...

 

also just to chime in- the rubber boots can be replaced on their own for mere $s if the components themselves are not worn. Rock Auto sells the control arms ( no idea if OEM quality) for around US $220 each.

​​​ them for 150 oem lemforder...

 

Cost me about ten bucks for a pack of ten rubber boots off an internet seller when I discovered mine each had a tear. Sorry I have no record of where I got them but it was not difficult.
