Default Heated/Cooled Seats issue

Bit of a strange one,

Picked up a new XF, and found that the heated/cooled seats (both driver and passenger) don't function. Stupid me for not checking these prior. Plugged in my SDD and found the SCME (driver's climate seat module) had a square orange question mark next to it (which according to the key means "Optional Module Not responding/fitted"
Where is this module's location?
What is the fuse that powers this module?
I'm going to check the peltier fan connections tomorrow, does anyone know the connector layout (so I know what to check for voltage-wise)
Thank you in advanced!

Attached is the SDD module status, there are no fault codes, the fuses (yellow 20A in the footwell) are both fine, not sure where to look next!

and the fact both seats don't work is making me believe it not to be the peltier..

Yeah even with the typical problem where either the filters are too dirty and/or the air pipes are cracked and leaking leading to not enough airflow over the peltier heatsinks, you'll still hear the fans come on initially when turning the seat heating on, and then the control unit will shut them down once the peltiers overheat. If you're not hearing anything at all from the fans then I'd be looking for the control unit, which your SDD screenshot seems to back up.

The relevant module is mounted under the base of the Driver's seat, attached to the plastic trim at the front (and the Passenger's seat actually, but Drivers is what SDD is complaining about). Less likely to fail than other floor-mounted modules such as the Bluetooth module which I think usually fails due to water ingress, although I guess it's possible. I do have wiring diagrams I'll try to dig out, but from what I can tell they changed over the years, so may not apply.

It's just under the seat, check physical connections.

With all those question marks, the seats might by your smallest problem.

Just to update this thread:

Disconnected the heated seat module and found that the ground pin had been arching and burnt plastic on the pin so wasn't getting a proper connection (why it wasn't seeing it in the SDD). Cleaned the pin and sorted the loose connection, and it's all working!
