Module Reflash

Module Reflash
Evening all!
I have just bought a 2013 XF Sportbrake. I used to have a 2010 XKR. My question is, as i had it in my XKR, how do you reflash modules? I wish to add ACC to my car, and to get the exact module is proving difficult, however, I've read that modules can be reflashed to work with our cars (Land Rover modules). My question is, how do i got about this? I have the knowledge to alter the CCF file on SDD, but never touch upon reflashing modules.
Thank you in advanced!!

Sorry, just checked eBay and they're all gone. I think there were only one or two left last time I looked. I've done a few ACC retrofit now for my customers so either I bought them or they bought them.
You can message me on the 3rd or 4th once everything is back to normal and I should still be able to get one for you from my supplier.

Don't suppose you know the top of your head which settings I need to enable on the CCF, I have a screenshot but it's from a Land Rover page so not sure if it's the same!

Have you actually driven around in a car with ACCC? Its not that great.
The default parameters leave way too much space to the car in front. This is for good safe following distance but in practice people will always merge there so the car proceeds to slam on the brakes.
In the same vein, safety standards at the time did not accommodate stop and go traffic where ACCC is actually useful, although this can be hacked to actually work on stock hardware by the right people.
Regionally specific, but any snow or even just dirt disables cruise control altogether.
Really most times I would prefer to just have plain cruise.

We have it on the Land Rover and it's terrific. You can adjust the gap that it leaves - the 'closest' setting works very well. It has never slammed on the brakes for me and I've prob done 15000 of my 55000 miles with it on.
Agree it's not designed for fully start stop traffic. It's adaptive cruise vs self driving. But on a typical highway run I've found it excellent
We've not had trouble with snow on the sensors / but that said I don't use it when roads are snowy or could be icy. I prefer to feel for myself how traction is.
