I am testing a 2012 5.0.
The media screen is displaying "No Signal" after startup. It does work when I engage Reverse, shows the camera and when I touch it I do get the menu. when going back to D, I get the same "No signal"/

Help, please.

 

What do you have the media set to?
If I switch to sat. radio which I don't have a subscription for I get a no media message.

It is playing music, just the screen showing "no signal"

Tried to reset it, can't.

 

Sorry for the bad suggestion! It may require a dealer visit to see if any codes are present.
Strange too since it does work (Play music) but the display does not show any media is present?

Any other gear I am getting "no signal" in a Blue box.

Yep a reset of the BCM may be required. I am waiting for the OBD cable to arrive.

Update, after scanning with SDD I got the U1A24-00 code. The MOST ring has no communication.

Most likely to be the bluetooth unit - these are common failures, I think due to the position under the driver's seat, although mine failed with no obvious signs of water ingress etc.

You can purchase MOST bypass loops on amazon etc that will allow you to remove units from the loop in turn to find the faulty one.
