Help with audio system upgrade
I'm trying to upgrade a Midline Sound system on my 2012 Jag XF mounting a
Bower and Wilkins set of speaker.
I mounted the new amplifier (BJ32-19C164-BF) in place of the old one, changed CCF configuration with Audio system "Midline" to "Premium" option, subwoofer and central speaker option enabled.
Now i see new options into the nav menu (dolby, subwoofer) but not sound come out from speaker.
I update module software using sdd procedure "configure new amplifier module" and "configure new audio control module" without result. No audio.
A DTC appeared with code U3000-55 "incorrect configuration".
Anyone has some ideas?
Thanks

The programming process howewer ask me to clear codes at the end of the procedure. the code of the software downloaded start with cx23. If i do a speed dynamic volume calibration i can hear sound coming out from speakers

yesterday I've investigated the problem a little. Analyzing sdd session logs seems that when i start procedure to configure a new AAM unit, ssd identify the new unit but when it compare the unit code with the "as built" data of my car, decides to upload software and calibration of the old unit.
Today i will try to load software manually using engineering mode.

I have the engineering code.
In engineering mode i can decide what software upload on modules?
With my mongoosePro i managed to load the bad software on AAM module, i think i can load the correct one in the same manner.

Was there any specific thing you needed to do to detect the new amplifier. I've always had SDD just try to install the old amp software, so I gave up reprogramming my amp.
Hello sparkie79. At least explain what you did. Forums are for sharing. I also have the same problem on FL2My13. How did you edit 'as built' file in sdd? Which version of SDD do you use? Which SDD procedure did you use? You could only help me if you're a little more precise, thanks.
