Hi saly,

I deleted your other thread. Please do not post any additional threads on this same topic.

It always helps others if you state the year and model of the Jaguar about which you are inquiring.

My first guess would be that your photo shows the rear suspension strut ECATS electrical harness with apparent rodent damage.

Cheers,

Don

Yes I couldn’t figure out how to
delete. But I need an actual part number and where to locate. All of that is clearly obvious ha.

You may be able to identify that harness by searching through the XF Electrical Distribution section at parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com, but a Jaguar dealership parts department might be the fastest way to learn the correct part number for your damaged harness.

On the other hand, an experienced automotive electrian may be able to repair your existing harness.

Cheers,

Don

Thank you! I am having difficulty finding the part: C2z4579
this would be the number I need to match. This truly saddens me as around my area they don’t really service jaguars so I constantly have to reach out so I do apologize for any inexperience. This is my first jaguar, and I’ve already had so much work done, and want so much more done to bring out its potential, but fear this may be a lingering issue. So any extra help locating a part I can use to replace would be truly a blessing! This forum seems to have far more expertise than anyone I talk to in my area, so is the main reason for me reaching out!
Thank you for all the help so far and I hope to a quick and easy resolution.

Most electrical harnesses are discontinued by Jaguar, so your best hope of finding a replacement will be from Jaguar parts salvagers.

I don't know what continent you reside on, but in the U.S. and U.K., many salvagers list parts for sale on ebay. I have had success by finding sellers who are offering parts from the same year and model, and if they don't have the part I need listed, send them a message through ebay's messaging system asking if they have the part I need.

Some salvagers have their own websites, such as:

https://nomaautoparts.com/

https://www.partsvoice.com/partsearch

https://lkqonline.com/

And many others.

Cheers,

Don
