HELP: Selecting Tires / Tyres for a 2012 XF!
Hello everyone,
It's that time of the life of a car where I need to go back to the tire shop to get some new tires for my XF.
My XF came with the 18" Lyra Rims with Pirelli's P Zero's (Noise noise noise, but great wear - 42K Km of hard driving + braking in Dubai on sizzling hot tarmac!).
I have noticed that replacement tires are either too cheap or just too expensive. I have finally found a sweetspot of 4 tires (Affordable, without compromising on unknown brands), so any feedback on these would be HIGHLY APPRECIATED:
1. Dunlop Direzza DZ102 (Cheap)
2. Dunlop Sport Maxx TT (Mid range)
3. Yokohama S221 (Mid range)
4. Bridgestone Turanza (Mid range)
My key requirements are as follows - Road Noise (Less the better) and Tire Wear (Longevity). I've had a kid, so my harder driving days are now behind me.
Being in Dubai I am not too concerned about the wet weather - its 99% dry, with 3 days of wet weather in the year.
Looking forward to your valuable suggestions! Kindly only recommend the above tires if you've had any experience with them.

My 2010 XF Supercharged came with Hankook Evo V12 tyres. I'd have never bought them myself vs a well known brand, but I've been impressed with them and they are much less expensive than many other options for the XF
Doesn't answer your direct comparison of the four you selected above, but worth consideration in my view
