Default How do I replace the accessory belt?

Doing my water pump and I have both supercharger and accessory belt off the pulleys but I’m struggling to figure out how to get the accessory belt off. Is there anything else I need to remove? Seems to be stuck in one place.

can’t get it off of the pulley back there.

You can try to sneak it past the bracket that's there on the left of your picture - otherwise you'll need to remove that pulley to the left of your arrow, and the bracket its bolted to

  1. Torque: 55Nm

  2. Torque: 25Nm

Ok thanks. I tried to get it out of there with the bracket still there but it looks like I may have to remove it after all.

No, you don't have to to remove it, you twist the belt and slide behind.

Awesome! But I tried it and failed. Probably didn’t try hard enough. I haven’t replaced the belt so I’ll give it another go.

Correct!, start there, flip and feed behind bracket, takes a couple tries, but does work.
