So far everyone who has my shifter who has had a Jaguar has said" Why doesn't every fully loaded version of Jag not come with one of these like all the other interior trim is"? They are right, If you buy a base model or similiar the factory knob is ok, but if you buy a R or a R-S , Supersport this should be standard to seperate the rest of the models like other options do.

Edobernig: Do you have a link where others could buy this "TOPPER" for the knob?

I carefully filed off the ring applied some mounting tape and voila it looks seriously factory.
All the stuff you ordered from Mina Gallery, call them ask for a free key fob. Mine was a free token. Chrome and Black enamel Growler key fob. There was a small ring where the chain attached. Like I said, filed of the ring off and it fits perfectly. Looks really cool especially when retracted. Ed

That looks GREAT Ed. By "key fob" are you talking about a keychain or something? I'm a bit lost here, but your mod looks very nice - clean and not over the top. Nicely done.

Basically there's the key ring, a short piece of chain and the medallion or fob that is attached to the other end of the chain. I should have taken a before picture, but close enough. I looked at Mina Gallery website and they don't show the key chain, maybe give them a call.

For those who where interested, The Shifter knob is ready for sale by Mina. Christ just drop me a email and told me that he should have it up on their web site soon, along with a few other upgraded items like the Black Grill and the eye lids . The two pic's he sent was of the growler and the mina emblem for the shifter knob. I think this should be a nice little christmas, wish list item.

Thanks Red...not only does it look cool, but I can't tell you how many times the damn chrome top has blinded me.

What is the PVJ topper?

Any idea on how to change out the Rotary Switch?

So cool. It really looks factory. It's so simple it was silly. What do you think?
Man! This is a nice concept!! Congrats!! I really like this. The only issue I have that after looking at it I can tell that it's not flush with the Rotary switch. For example, someone can look at it and tell that it's a separate piece correct? I want it all one piece for that real factory look. I like what u have done still. Nice man. I give you big props on a cool mod.

Default Looks factory to me

The new Mina Growler looks the same as my key fob. However the side profile of what I did is heavier. Actually I like the slight raised look when its retracted. I could also get a closer fit using a thinner double-backed foam mounting tape. Either way it looks classy and factory to the untrained eye.
That and my XF metal pedals really make the interior.
I would highly recommend the growler on the shifter. So simple an old fire chief can do it.

Default topper

Hello TheLegend
Topper is the cap of the rotary switch.
Checkout Long Islander post 08-15-12 ,explains removal of topper and
to then remove rotary switch. also, edobernig has posted pictures,08-20-12

edobernig I have the same pedals as do a couple others on the forum. Super nice for the $50 on ebay. I just ordered the weathertech digital floor mats...see how well they fit with the extra foot rest in there.

Thanks! I'm definitely getting this. Must have mod for me. Looks very classy and ads to the interior. I'm going to replaced the rotary switch with the emblem already on it. (pic posted in Redjaguar post above)

This is one cool MOD that I think even the designer for the XF would applaud. Good work!
