I installed the illuminated tread plate on Jag xf, 2011. Part is c2z5587LEG about 500 from dealer, 200 to install. Directions included were only drawings, no description. Took several viewings to figure it out. Removal of old ones not hard, just pry up. Some of the retainers stay on car and can be slid or broken out because new ones on new part. Main problem was removal of a single wire #9 from multi plug to replace with one from harness. Still don't know best way to do that, I cut it and pulled from front. Otherwise was plug and play. Need to thread new cables under dash to driver side because it all plugs into dash on right side then feeds to both tread areas. The removal of the multi plug caused dash video to be reset after starting and stopping 2X, because it was blank when first started. Otherwise works great. Blue lights "JAGUAR" with dash lines lights when door opens and when you turn off key along with overhead. May be coolest thing in the car now, at least on par with shifter.
