Xf 2011 premium luxury. Ipod docked but will not play music (spotify). Using ipod lead into ipod connection in car, Top of screen in car says PAUSED. When i press play on ipod it plays for one second then stops. HELP

 

Try loading a track through iTunes/Apple Music on to the phone. They seem to need to see one of those first before streaming will work.

To fix your iPod not playing music, you could first try to force restart your iPod. If it still cannot play music, then you have to check some settings including sound. Next, if nothing works, then you might need an ios repair software such as TunesKit to fix your iPod OS without data loss. Of course, you could contact Apple center for advice.
