I have recently changed my IPod2 for IPod6 and of course the connection to the original special Jag port needed an iPod 2 to iPad 6 adaptor
Went tp parts department of Jaguar and was told they don’t do an IPOD2 to ipod6 ADAPTOR,try Internet but beware because i may have a compatibility issue with Jaguar XF
So bought a adaptor from Amazon Internet [it was only a couple of quid] which works fine on IPOD connector to home stereo unit, but does not work with Jag XF port as predicted by the parts man at Jag
Apple sell an adaptor for £25 but I’m reluctant to purchase if this happens to be a Jaguar issue
Anyone had same problem or has a resolution

I just bought the cable for mine and it says no phone to dock... I was wondering if there is a switch that needs to be made to put it into thee proper mode
