Another newbie to the forum so hi to everyone.

I took ownership of my first Jaguar (XF R-Sport 2015/X250) over a week ago and seem to have a lack of keyless entry. I'm not entirely sure whether it was an option and i don't have it installed or there's an issue? From what I've read the door handles are telling me that i should have it. Both keys are functioning fine but it's like all the door sensors are not picking up the signal.

Before i took delivery the dealership changed a battery and screwed the central locking module that had to be replaced. I'm wondering if there might be a connection and can i do a reset to overcome this?

Can you describe the symptoms? If locked and you just pull on the handle does it unlock? And if unlocked and you push the button on the handle does it lock, or do you get the double beep error?

 

Apparently it's much simpler than that. It's not on my car but thanks for the thread response. The car was previously a jaguar managers car and it seems that they are given cars with reduced options.
