Late diff and driveshafts / propshaft in early car?

Late diff and driveshafts / propshaft in early car?
My 2008 2.7 diesel XF has the early Ford Visteon diff. Now it leaks and a new diff kit from jag is not economical at all. Obviously the bits from an early car that got the GKN diff under warranty will fit. But to make it a bit easier to find the parts from a wreckers yard, will the same bits from a car that got the GKN diff from new fit as well? I. e. chassis number from R47154 to S61361 so mid 2009 up to end of 2012.
