Thats good to know

My parking sensors worked when I had the unit in I just selected everything in the car settings and worked perfectly even pressing the button worked to turn them on. May be worth giving it a try although the Canbus in the Prefacelift Model is different to the 2012 Models as i've found out testing the 8" unit.

 

I have a 2010 pre facelift XF.

 

Anyone have the android 12 version? I wonder if they updated the canbus box also.

 

Thread bump, so hope people are still following/interested in this.

I've got a 2010 XF 3.0D S Portfolio that I have owned for 6 years now that I am still delighted with and I'd be happy to keep for another 6 if I could upgrade the tech, and one of these Android HU/screens looks like just the ticket.

Before I splash the cash though I'm wondering if anyone can answer a couple of questions about them...

1. I have the B&W "440w" system with Pro-Logic Surround and the external amplifier. How well does this Android unit integrate with that system - does it connect directly to the fibre-optic network for supplying the audio stream to the amp?

2. What are the options for using the Android unit with DAB+? I upgraded my factory fit DAB module to a DAB+ one (taken from a Range Rover) and it has worked well and I'd hate to go all the way back to FM only.

I'll probably have more questions in time, but these are the two deal-breakers for me right now.

I have put back the newer device.

You can disable the chinese sim slot and use only yours.

I am not sure what I did, but the internet works fine now.
