Talking Need help figuring out what Jag this is!

So in my little town I live in, I see this white XF, and the exact trim/options on it confuse me. It the X250 version after the mid cycle refresh so it's a model year between 2012-2015. It is white with the full "black pack". But here is where it gets confusing to me, it has quad exhaust...but doesn't have any R or RS badging...but it DOES just have it's XF badge (so I'm ruling out debadging because why would he debadge the R and leave the XF?)...

Were the R and RS the only Jags that had quad exhaust?
Or were you able to get quad exhaust as an option on a lower level trim?

Chances are that it is an XF with the "s" package that gives it dual exhaust (i believe the 3.0 also has dual exhaust) and he fitted an aftermarket muffler that was able to cram into the stock cut outs.

I agree with the previous post, the exhaust has most likely been modded. I have seen a few of the BMW 550i models with a modded quad exhaust. Trying to make them look like an M5.

Yes, the XFR and XFRS were the only XF's that came stock with quad exhaust tips.
It's 99% sure to be a V6 with after-market exhaust tips.
Alternatively it could have an XFR or XFRS axle-back exhaust, they bolt straight up to the V6 with only minor modifications.
I put quad tips on my old XFS (3.0 diesel):

The 5.0SC cars came with quad tips.

Only markings stock was the XF and the 5.0 on back.

Even the very first XFR (2009) had an R badge on the RHS rear so yours must have dropped off or been swiped/removed.
It wasn't until 2011 I think that it also came with an R badge on the LHS of the grille, and then in 2012 the R badges changed from "square" to "round" and at some point the green bit changed from dark green to light green. Trying to find the correct shape and colour R badge for your XFR can be a bit of a pain!

My XF 5.0 SC has quad tips. And just the XF badge on left and a 'supercharged' badge on right.

2012-2013 XF Supercharged fits the description to a "t."

If it has quad tips and regular front bumper then it's an SC. Does it have the hood scoops of the SC? Does it have the XFR front bumper?

I have a 2013 XF SC and what I find odd about mine is that I have the fins on the rear insert b/t the exhaust. From what I can tell that's only supposed to be on the XFR. So I would if it was a factory option or maybe in 2013 they offered it. I have never been able to find a 2013 brochure, just a 2012 and 2015.

You know, it could be a late assembly thing. My S-Type was a perfect example. It was one of the last 750 made and was uniquely optioned as a Satin Edition. It not only had a special finish to the wood on the dash, but it also had a bunch of things that were reserved for STRs, including chrome side mirrors.
I got the feeling that they just emptied the parts bin with everything left over at the end of S-Type production.
