Default Need location of oxygen sensor

My engine light came on and I went to a automotive electrician and P00551 code came on. So I need to replace my 02 oxygen sensor Bank 2 Sensor 1. I bought the part thinking it would be easy to spot but after looking around I can’t seem to locate it. Do I need to go from the bottom or top? Does anyone have a diagram, or location of it?

Well with the 5.0 all is done from the bottom, and it's not for the faint of heart. But from the diagram it looks like the 4.2 sensors are much easier to get to. 1 in each cat (Upstream) and 1 just before they go under the center of the car (Downstream) each side.

As graham posted above. Sitting in the drivers seat. The right bank is bank 1 and the left bank is bank 2.

Not sure on the 4.2, but on my 5.0 I had to remove the cats to get to the upstream sensor. There just isn't room to get to it with the exhaust in place. The only way to do that is from under the car.

Yes I have worked on both and the 5.0L engine is MUCH more difficult to work on the O2 sensors. Like vfrman posted above I only got the first O2 sensor out after removing the cat. That's not all that easy either! The dang exhaust studs were rusted pretty good and I live in a salt free area. Plus again just no access for tools or your hands.

I finally got the cat out with the stud and one nut still attached. On the bench I used my torch and got it red hot before I could slowly work the nut and then the stud to get everything free.

If you need to replace the studs and nuts. I ordered one set as at the time it looked like I would need to cut them off the car.

Stud is about $5 and the nut is about $4. Common parts and easy to find. I was not able to find a generic stud and bolt as there are a lot of those out there.
The listing above says SS nut but what I got looks to be regular steel?

On the 4.2L I changed them all without removing any exhaust parts.
