Default New Jag and a question

Hi,

I'm Stefan from Germany, 28 yes old and currently owner of a 2010 BMW 740xd and a 2010 jag xf 3.0 diesel as my daily commuting car.
Bought the jag purely for passion some days ago, it is just for me to enjoy whereas the BMW is my wife's car and our weekend trip ride.

What bothers me though is the standard radio in the jag.
I would like to install a sub in the spare wheel area.Found a wiring diagram for the amp but not sure if it fits mine. Want to take the signal from the rear speakers.

Can somebody help me identify the proper wire?

Also I'm experiencing the occasional handbrake fault, the car's battery seems to have been flat in the showroom and the epb not been reset afterwards. I hope doing the procedure will bring the cure.

Regards
Stefan

Hi Steka - welcome to the Forum. Great looking car - congratulations! There were a few threads on the forum about 6-9 months ago looking at putting a sub in the boot - and someone went for the spare wheel area. So if you search around you may find some useful info. Good luck!

Hi, checked the archives and sorry to say but no help to be found there.
The thing I'm missing is the knowledge of where I can extract the audio signal. In my car as you can see there is no amp in the luggage compartment. So I don't know where to search.

I can't help with the wiring for you specific vehicle, but thought my work with the box in the spare tire well might be of use.
