New Wheels and Tires
I think they look good. And I'm not being critical at all but to me they remind me of the A7 rims. I noticed because there is one I see often parked near my condo.
Just don't know how you guys can do 22's with the rubber band side walls. I've lost 2 rims and I have 20's

Sure it looks nice but get a luxury car and then turn it into a mediocre [at best] ride I do not get; .. surely the ride is gonna be harder than hell?
No doubt someone will enlighten me.

Did you use any spacers on the front or back or did they come in that offset. I'm thinking about putting spacers on my fronts to push the wheels out just a bit, about a 1/2 inch.
But I have been in a friends car who had 20 or 21" wheels and the ride was ruined IMO
You pays your money and make your choice
If you like the look and ride .... go for it, it's your car.
No doubt! I was just curious. I've pretty much plus sized wheels on every car I've owned and while there is a difference in the ride, if you have good tires, with a proper balance and alignment the ride difference isn't that noticeable and I would say far from terrible.
Where the ride issues usually come in is when you're hit a pothole and even slightly bend a wheel and they are no longer truly round is when you start to really notice the difference IME.

I am not using any spacers. I am not trying to go too aggressive on the stance to avoid any possible rubbing issues. I am pleased with the look and the ride, it feels almost stock and no rubbing at all.
It is still a luxury car, in fact I think the bigger wheels make it look more luxurious. The ride difference is hardly noticeable.
If they look good to you, that's what matters. As for me, I would never put 22's on the XF. I don't care about the ride quality, but 22's just look too big for this car, they're almost like clown feet. I have purchased bigger wheels on all of my cars before I got my XF, but not too big. For the XF I would go with wider, staggered 20's. 21's max. 22's start to look a little donk lol
