Hi all,

I just bought a 2011 Jag XFS but the lack of a DAB radio is annoying as hell!

Can anyone recommend a head unit that fits that is also:

• DAB radio
• Bluetooth (for calls)
• Sat Nav

If its possible to fit myself I'd prefer that but I'm open to hearing about audio companies in NW England (I'm in Greater Manchester).

I haven't heard of an aftermarket replacement for Jaguar. It integrates so many functions.

 

I am guessing there would have to be some hacking involved to bring back most of the climate and seat functions not to mention the trip computer is there and the general vehicle functions. AFAIK there are no off the shelf stereos that can be configured to control all of those functions.

In summary you will not be replacing the infotainment system in the jag. As sheeple demand more distractions in their cars it will not be getting any better anytime soon. The days of replacing a stereo in 30 minutes are long gone.

I just spoke with the idata link guys that make the maestro unit which is awesome, basically there is no way in hell we will ever have an aftermarket radio in our cars or any new Jags.

There are aftermarket radios that can handle climate and other functions but the Jag system is so integrated it is almost impossible.
