parts recommendation for lower control arms
I need to replace the front lower control arms on my 2012 XF. Looking for recommendations on which parts manufacturer to use. There are many to choose from and prices vary widely.

You can use 2002 thunderbird parts, same chassis. The uppers are even marked Jaguar.
CHek that whole thread, info about replacing bushings as well

Yeah I see, odd that jag uses a different one. If you read the thread you will see brands to avoid based on experience for uppers. (Mevotech, Eurospare)
I have had success with Moog, ACdelco from Rockauto, good quality. I have had both good and bad experiences with Dorman if you are looking to be cheap
Cheapest I found Genuine OE from is https://www.jagbits.com/ssearch.html?query=c2z10052 its double the price but a Jag part
Delphi parts are good and make some OE TC3552

you are right about jaguar parts. I had the original rotors fail around 35000 miles and the replacement jaguar rotors that cost $600 at the dealer dail in about 30000 miles. I replaced those with Centric pads & rotors from Rock Auto and they have over 40,000 miles and still going strong.

Received my parts from Rock auto. The arms are made of aluminum and it appear that am improvement has been made on the end with the larger bushing. There is an additional metal ring around the bushing so that no part of the rubber is exposed. My mechanic also told me that Dorman will only make a part when they have identified a need for it based on how often the original factory part needs to be replaced. He also indicated that they will attempt to make improvements to correct the problem that causes the failure.
