] Cleaned the MAP sensor, one on top near the oil filter (3.0D) the other day with electrical contact cleaner. Few days later went on a run from near J13 M1 to the Black Cat roundabout , roughly 20 miles each way cruise control 65-70 mph and back to see if it would regen and clear the DPF.
Since then it seems like the mpg is worse, opposite of what I expected. The car was averaging around 30-32mpg around Milton Keynes which has dropped to close to 20. I understand this might be due to the cold but I also have the problem with the connection in the fuel tank which is causing intermittent no reading on fuel gauge. I'm not sure if that would also give a false low mpg reading ?
