This thread is for the enthusiasts looking for doing things that reflect latest technologies in their Jaguar.
I would like to start with
I recently bought 2011 Jaguar XF Limited Edition. I love the way the car drives. but somethings are totally not with today's pace of technologies.

• Useless Things
• Navigation is total useless.
• Touch screen interface is pains taking slow in response.
• Replacing current touch screen is not possible since it is very much integrated with the CAR settings.

Things I am looking to do in my 2011 Jag XF

• Install a new 10 inch android table, and use Android Auto.
• Laser Diode HUD

were you able to accomplish any of these upgrades

 

I have a 6.5" android tablet that runs android auto.... I call it... my phone. Lol.

I'm using a CD player slot mount.

did you lose your car function due to your headunit being touch screen that control every thing.

 

No no I have my head unit. My phone just hangs out in front. I'll have to borrow my wifes phone to take a picture of my phone.
