My wife said I was insane for buying what she considers to be the same car three times, but I beg to differ.
Started off in an Ultimate Black XF Portfolio w/ NA 5.0. No issues during the entire ownership, this car got me into Jaguars:
Then I found this beauty, Polaris White XFR, which has kept me entertained for the past 4 years. It had a ton of issues ($18k worth of warranty work, thank you Fidelity!), but I loved my time with this car. Most people that approached it didn't know what it was or can't believe it's a Jag or that it's a 2012 MY. I will miss her dearly, enjoy the attached video.
Now it's time to start a new journey with the Italian Racing Red XFR-S! This one was love at first sight all over again. The color, the aggressive lines, the performance, the sound, everything about this car is perfection to me. I look forward to creating memories with this car.
They might all look similar to a layman, but those that know, know how special and unique each iteration is.
Congrats!!! When you know what you like you know what you like. Where did you get it from? I saw two IRR’s pop up on car gurus about two weeks ago, wondering if this was one of them!

Thank you! Yup, this is one of them. I wasn't even actively looking for one, but this one was 10 miles away from me, so I decided to go for a test drive and immediately decided I had to have it! It helped that it's a really clean one owner Georgia car, that was certified and has the full service history.
Congrats. I've had my 2010 5.0 SC for nearly 10 years now. And have loved every minute. Part of why I haven't changed it is I can't think of another 4door I'd rather have. So I will likely also look for a late XFR-S eventually as my next step. But for now - trouble free so I'm sticking with it!

Thanks! Buy it when you find the right one, clean examples are hard to find.
That blue one is near me! I saw it pop up last week and was really perplexed by it. Kinda wanna go check it out. Is it me or does the driver seat upper bolster look worn.
wait a second…it’s listed here for cheaper ? Did the Indiana dealer buy it from the first dealer and it’s still posted in two spots?

Also note the 1/61 comment. I wonder how they know…
Yup it's the same car I saw last week on Cargurus listed for $49.9k at "R&I Auto Sales", looks like they forgot to delete the listing on cars.com. South Shore JLR bought the car and listed it for an easy $18k markup! Even the XKR-S's are going for $75-85k, so I guess this is not a wild number looking at the current market. I hit a lottery with my R-S compared to this.
The 1/61 comment came from the Indy dealer, I don't know how much to trust that. But it seems possible for the NA market, they didn't sell very well here. If you do get to check it out, see if South Shore JLR can confirm that.
I actually use the bluetooth for phone and audio. With wifi/bluetooth enabled and phone can be connected to the car's bluetooth and wireless carplay, I retain full steering wheel controls. The only thing you lose out on is getting voice instructions from Siri, Google Maps, and Waze.
