Default Rear hub removal

Our 09 Jaguar XF broke 3 rear studs off. There is not enough room to drive out the studs to install the new ones. So I need to remove the rear hub.

Any pointers is greatly appreciated. I removed the brakes/disc and rear axle nut. I have tried a couple of three arm pullers and it has not budged. The last was a 7 ton puller and it was as tight as I could go with a cheater. The "clover" design of the hub compared to circle makes this type of puller difficult. I am obviously missing something. Can the hub be pulled out of the knuckle or does the whole assembly have to come out. Really stumped here.

Getting desperate..again. Thanks.

Yep, buy a subscription to TOPix and take a look at the job as explained by the service manual. It's downloadable.

As a follow up for others I was able to fix this. There is a snap ring holding in the bearings but it is impossible to get to with the hub in place. So with a 10 ton jaw puller and a very long cheater I was able to get it off. By it I mean the whole assembly off the axle. It destroyed the bearing in the process since the bearing stayed on the axle shaft but everything else came off with it. The machine shop told me this would happen and just have new bearings ready.

So after having the remains of the old bearing pressed out and new bearings pressed in, new hub assembly with good studs pressed together it went back together.
