Default Rear Upper Control Arm spinning nut Nightmare

Hi

Got a 2008/9 XF Portfolio 5.0 NA.

Needs a new rear passenger side upper control arm which we have.
Front bolt removed.
How to stop the nut spinning on the rear bolt?
Crows foot does not hold it, it stops spinning but will not rotate at all. Tried impact wrench, but just shakes it all lose and tools at back come off despite being jammed.
There is no tab on the nut as suggested in some forums.
The nut is not welded in, as suggested in some forums.
No room at all to get anything in there.

Gallon of petrol and a match is nearing............

Any thoughts? How to remove this?
Thanks

Dear moderators, thanks for moving my post.
Ref the problem itself........... Any thoughts?
I am thinking of having to take the rear strut out to get to it.

Thanks in advance.

Try harder! are you using a 3/8 socket set, and or ring spanners. Tools for the job.
Are you using the correct size sockets? Do you expect/are both sides the same size??
If you can get your hands on it you can get it off with the correct sized tools.

Man up and pull yourself together.

Using the correct tools, Socket size, depth (deep), small extension, Tommy bar, small ratchet, and or small ring spanner etc, etc. There is room to secure the nut and slacken off.

Managed it on the S type, XF and the XK.

For King and Country, England expects! Removal.
