Replacing air filter question
I looked at the filter box today and there are several torx screws. Do all of them have to be unscrewed and there was also an electric plug that seem to be in the way. Do I need to take any spring special precautions with it.
I'm looking for any helpful tips to make this go easy. Thanks

Assuming you have a V8 either NA or SC then it's fairly easy. Undo all the Torx screws (T20 from memory) but don't take any of them right out, they are "held captive" by the filter box tops anyway. I accidentally took one all the way out then of course I dropped it in the engine bay never to be seen again!
Then the top lifts off just far enough so you can ease the old filter out and put a new one back in.
No need to remove any plugs, I guess you are looking at the MAF sensor plugs.

I lost one of the Torx 20 screws that holds the top half and bottom half of the air filter assembly. Jaguar doesn't seem to sell these individually. Any recommendations on where to get a replacement?

And you need to be buying "matched sets". Jaguar sells them in pairs package together so theyre made from the same filter batch material. It can be the source of mafs air airflow faults. Parts houses do not sell them in pairs so you take you chances.
Wow that is good to know!
Such a small thing as not having matched air filters could cause problems.
Heard of this with matched fan belts for about the same reason. You want the material they are made out of to be from the same batch.
