Default Samsung Galaxy S5

Has anyone had any success pairing the GS 5? I have a 2011 XFR and when I enter the code on the phone, the phone says the PIN or password is wrong. Anyone know if this phone is supported? My S4 worked just fine.

Brand new phone but the solution to the problem was to shut off the phone, restart it as follows

hold volume up, home, and the power buttons
when phone vibrates, release the power button
scroll down to clearing the cache
scroll up and select reboot the phone

phone works on the XFR now.

That worked, thanks! Is there a way to make names pop up when a call is incoming? I can select names from the phone book to make a call but only a number shows up for incoming.

Glad the fix worked. I got the fix from the tech at T-Mobile.

The names of the people that call who are in my phone book show up on the screen. I don't think that the caller ID feature displays the name for those not in the phone book.

That's the problem, even people in my phone book only show up as numbers. Annoying to look at my phone to see who is calling before I answer.

Well names finally show up after dealer did some update. Took it in for source button on wheel and dash not selecting anything but am/fm. A week there and many calls to jag tech sppt and it was a bad satellite module. Whatever that is. All good now tho.

They do show up, however after you pair the phone, you have to wait and you will see messages pop up on your phone asking if you want to share/give access to your phone book and call history and you have to accept them.

this will take a short while.

Just delete the bluetooth connection on both the car and the phone and start over and wait until you see the messages on your phone after the pairing.
