Default Shop manuals

So what's the best way for an owner to get a shop manual for an '11 XF?

Since I have 2 of these cars, and I do a lot of DIY with my cars, I signed up with AllDataDIY. While it's definitely better than nothing, for many items, it's pretty close to nothing.

If general mechanics have to rely on what's in that site, no wonder they screw up a lot of cars.

I still can't figure out how to buy a subscription to the Topix website without being a business.

Has anyone figured this out? The shop manuals for my 06 Lincoln are so detailed, it's excellent. Since they were the same company for a while, I know there has to be something better than AllData.

Not sure this will help, but I have a complete shop manual (plus electrical as extra) that covers my 09 ( and supercharger I believe) in pdf format.

Yes….E-mail me. I use Drop Box since the main manual itself is about 88MB large.

The PDF of the manual is great, and much more detailed than what you will find on AllDataDIY.

I also contacted Topix, and they had to fix my account so I could access the paid subscription service to their manuals. It's not cheap. It's $16 just to look at the manuals for an hour, and $433 for the year.

Big thanks to Chuck!

TOPix is what the Jag techs use, $36 for 24hrs. And it is HUGE for my 2010 XFR. But worth it as my 2010 has 31 volumes that just cover Jag specific DTC codes.
